Catherine Nunn

BAppSci, MA, PMAICCM, FIIC

I'm a highly skilled painting conservator and have worked in the industry for over 25 years.

My clients include The National Trust of Australia, state and regional art galleries, museums and private collectors.

I am included in the Victorian Heritage Services Directory as an approved provider and am an elected Fellow of the International Institute for Conservation (IIC) and an accredited Professional Member of the Australian Institute for Conservation of Cultural Materials (AICCM).

Before opening my business in 2019, I held the position of Senior Painting Conservator/Acting Head of Painting Conservation at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, and also worked as a painting conservator in other institutions including the Auckland Art Gallery, the National Gallery of Victoria,  Grimwade Conservation Services at the University of Melbourne and Artlab Australia, Adelaide. In the early 2000s, I worked for several years in the private sector in London under the mentorship of some of the world's best conservators where I learnt valuable skills while treating Old Master paintings from important UK collections.

International: Botticelli, Canaletto, Rubens, Renoir, Picasso, Jan van Goyen, Jan Steen, Jan Weenix, John Constable, Eugene Delacroix, Simon de Vlieger
